William L. Blanchet, MD

Dr. Blanchet was raised in Louisiana on his family’s rice and cattle farm. He attended medical school at LSU and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Missouri. He began practice in Boulder in 1986 and opened his own private practice in 1998.

Dr. Blanchet is a well-known and respected member of the Colorado medical community. He served as the Director of the Boulder Valley IPA and Medical Director of Boulder Manor. Currently, he is the Medical Director of Professional Home Health Care, a Board Member at Tara School of Performing Arts, and the Owner/Medical Director of Front Range Preventive Imaging. He is a local keynote speaker and advocate of early detection and prevention of heart disease and colon cancer.

He is passionate about providing effective management of cardiac health in his patients and combines a wonderful, kind approach with keen intellectual abilities. Dr. Blanchet’s patients benefit from his willingness to take the time necessary to diagnose and treat complex medical conditions.

Donna and Bill have been married since 1981 and have three children. He is an enthusiastic gardener. His favorite pastime is fly fishing.

Lindsay Woods

CLINICAL LIAISON

Lindsay Woods

Lindsay has a strong pharmaceutical background in cardiovascular disease. As the Clinical Liaison for Front Range Preventive Imaging, Lindsay interfaces with physicians, patients, and public media. She is actively involved in women’s health issues and especially in the area of coronary prevention. She is on the local lecture circuit, speaking to groups on women’s health and on the early detection and prevention of disease.

For 10 years, Lindsay was the producer and host of “The Tuesday Talk Show” on KRFC radio 88.9 fm. You can listen to podcasts of the Tuesday Talk Show with Lindsay and Dr. Blanchet and her other guests at www.tuesdaytalkshow.podomatic.com.

Lindsay is also a competitive dancer, competing nationally in both Country and Ballroom Dance. She won the World Champions for her division in 2010. It‘s pretty much like “Dancing With The Stars,” only the “pond” is a whole lot smaller.

CT TECHNOLOGISTS

Christy

Christy is our other technologist who also came from Boulder Community Hospital imaging department in 2006. Christy has more experience in EBT Heart Scans and Virtual Colonography than any other technologist in Colorado . This is highly important in assuring the quality and accuracy of each scanning procedure.

Karen

Karen is our newest technologist. She comes to us with extensive background in all types of CT scans, both screening and diagnostic.  Karen is also an avid horse lady and enjoys riding her horse Sage in her spare time.

SONOGRAPHER (Ultrasound)

Cindy

Cindy is our Sonographer who performs the screening and diagnostic ultrasounds. Again, the quality of the ultrasounds is critical in achieving the best and most accurate imaging to send to the radiologist for interpretation.
