The day of your Body Scan - What's involved?

No special preparations are required before visiting our
center.

We prefer that patients arrive about an hour prior to the test
in order to drink a special contrast solution to highlight the
gastrointestinal tract.

You will be asked to provide our center with the name of a
primary care physician who would be available for consultation should there
be a positive finding.

You will need to review the consent form and understand the
capabilities and the real limitations of abdominal screening without
intravenous contrast.

Your visit will included filling out our conventional risk
factor questionnaire, a consent form and the 10 minute Body Scan procedure.

On site consultation with a physician to review the heart scan
can be pre-scheduled.
